Updating the Baseband

I'm kinda confused on how I go about updating the baseband on my incredible. I ran unrevoked forever, so im s-off. currently im running 2.1 with sense, and my current baseband is 1.00.03.04.06. How do I update to a 2.xx.xx.xx.xx baseband and not screw up my phone?

I'm not sure the 2.xx radios will even work with 2.1. Any reason you're not on 2.2?

I went back to 2.1 today thinking I needed to, so i could flash a different baseband. Should I go back to CM6 then first?

Thanks a bunch, I've been on XDA for the past hour and can't believe I missed this. But do I need to be running 2.2??

No, but I'm not sure if you'll be able to run 2.1 with the updated radio.
