Upgrade Date?

I am on verizon, but I have not read anything about this from any carrier. This is for the people that didn't purchase the phone outright.

My upgrade date says 10-20, not 8-20. So this is an issue if I want to upgrade for the next note, if it is released around the same time next year.

I will argue my case, but I was curious if anyone read or argued already.

Mine also changed to 10-20....and my agreement date keeps changing

My original upgrade date was 7-15. I waited for the Note, then returned the recalled one and they reverted my upgrade date but when I got the replacement, they changed it to 10/22, the day I activated the new Note. grrr. But having spent a lot of time on other issues with them, I am just going to suck this one up.

When I got the first note 7 my contract date was 8/14. I got the new note 7 and contract date is 8/14 yet. Why are you guys getting October contract dates, October isn't even here yet. I know most people contract dates changed to September, which I would fight to, but October??

I'm with Verizon and did not do the double swap deal, just waited for the new note 7.

That's a good question, about why October. I think in my case because I changed the plan I am on and the date the change was effective was October. My old plan reset the day I got the phone and then I changed it. On the other hand, I don't know that makes any sense. But again, I just decided to live with it.

WoW! What a hassle people having their contract extended.. I pre-ordered my Note 7 and had my Coral Blue Note exchanged at a Corp Store on 9/21/16. Same contract date as when ordered and UDP still intact...

I have not seen my bill yet, but I am guessing my upgrade date will be pushed back as well, especially since my first payment device was (apparently) refunded. If this is the case and I want to get the next Note when it is released, I will just pay the remaining amount needed to reach the 50 percent pay off threshold.

That said, I will know more when I see my next bill.

I guess I need to look at the whole picture too. not sure what was refunded or not. My wife handles the bill because she gets a better discount for twc. It would be nice considering it was not our decision to do all this if they kept it as the original date. But I have honestly gotten enough stuff to more then compensate. SD card, 2 vr's, $20, $10, $10. $25 (zagg protector gone within 2 days, just garbage) $5 and $5 (dunkin donuts I guess I would have gotten 1 either way) and some VR Oculus money.

I would still like to hear from others if they spoke to someone about this and or got the original date corrected.
