Upgrade from Note 5 to Note 10+...should I?

I've been patiently waiting for a new and great Note phone for 4 years now. Everytime I've been ready to get one I change my mind and think "wait, the next one will be better". And so I have. I'm thinking that again after watching the unveiling yesterday. With the S11 on the horizon, do you think I should wait? I just don't want to be disappointed.

it seems like you will be waiting forever if you keep with "wait the next one will be better" as much as that may be true, you have to jump in the water at some point, are you just gonna stare at it all the time. The 10 Lines (both S and Note) gave us something new, in terms of In Display Fingerprint scanner, additional cam, Depth Sensors, TOF, etc, which the 8 or 9 lines did not have. the 11 series will probably bring something new as well, and so forth with the 12.

stop waiting. i think from Note 5 to Note 10 is a well deserved upgrade. and hold the N10 for another 5 years if you wish

Note 5 to Note 10 is a HUGE jump. You will not believe what you've been missing I don't think you'll be disappointed at all

You'll have to search through alot, but someone in the forums recently posted they got a grip for trading a Note 5. I wanna say maybe $450?

Yep, if you are on Verizon the promo right now is $450 for the trade in. Off promo it's $43. DO IT!

I also loved the note 5 but went from that to the note 8 and it was a huge upgrade 2 years ago. Definitely you should, even if you're not on Verizon and don't get that ridiculous trade in promo

I've got to say though, you must take extremely good care of the Note 5 to have it that long. Have you replaced the battery in it

Good God man, Note 5!? Yes, upgrade to ANYTHING but that dinosaur phone! You should be applauded for holding out that long.

A few years ago I gave my mom my old Note 5. It's slowly been ageing, and certain things like the USB port don't work anymore (she uses wireless charging). But, being frugal she won't give it up. Gotta say it's a sturdy phone if you take good care of it.

I have not had to replace it, granted it does drain by late afternoon but I just deal with it. I got it wet last year and it went dead, rice brought it back 3 days later! Best phone I've ever had!

this phone has been amazing, granted the battery drains by late afternoon but I dropped this thing in water last year and it went dead completely. 3 days of being in rice and it was back to normal, amazing phone.
