Upgrade to Nougat - Second file

I manually updated my Huawei P9 Lite to Nougat.
There were to files to download and install: a big one (1,2 GB) and a small one (388 MB).
I got confused and installed only the big file. It worked.
Now, I understand that the second file is an update to the first file, but I already started to use the phone.

Question: is it still possible to install the second file now that I'm already using the phone?
Or do I have to start all over, i.e., from the beginning: install the big file again and then the small file?

The second one may have been a security update for Marshmallow, that security update would have been rolled into the Nougat update you received.

You can always go check for updates and see if there's anything more to install.

I can't check for updates, since I don't have this option.

That's why my question, if it is still possible to install the second file now that I'm already using the phone?
Or do I have to start all over, i.e., from the beginning: install the big file again (and then the small file)?

Again, the small file may have been a monthly patch that was included in the larger update. What does your phone status say about the patch level?

I wouldn't worry about it.
