US Cellular S4 Programming Calls Verizon

So I purchased a US Cellular branded phone off eBay(last time I do that). it had a clean MEID and the store put the SIM card in. The worker called *228 to activate and Verizon's programming line picked up instead of US Cellular's. I was not roaming and should have had great access to 4G. The seller is being uncooperative abd saying he did nothing and it isn't possible to flash or unlock a US Cellular phone. Does anyone have a clue how to fix this?

The seller finally stopped lying and said the person he purchased it from tried flashing it and that it should work on carriers like net 10. I still need to get this on US Cellular. is it possible?

Me thinks I'd get my money back and get a valid USC phone. Have your seller meet you at the store and give him the $ once it's properly activated.
