There was a message a while back (I think on Google+) about Google adding developer names to charges placed from Google Play. The reason for this is so you could identify charges on an app-per-app basis. For example, if you had a charge from Google -Rovio, you purchased a Rovio product.

That said, I don't know why these names show up under Google device purchases, but they could be leftover from the last app that a user purchased. Hopefully, someone else can confirm this?

I like Staples procedure better. They give you all the dates and your tracking number right when you order it. They're just saying everything that they know unlike google.

I heard if you preordered before July 10th that it will ship with the 1st load. It should be here by July 17th at the most. If you are going on vacation in early August, like me hopefully you'll have the Nexus 7 in time.
