I'm skeptical as well. I sincerely doubt that they will do that. I wish I had enough money to get one at office depot :/

They won't. They said three business days. Many pre-orders won't have any information till Wednesday. They won't see the first delivery attempt till Friday.

so i got my tracking info updated today and i should have my nexus tomorrow between 9 and 1p. I ordered the 8gb version on july 5. Only thing is i noticed that it said my new reschedule delivery date.... what the heck was the original date??? anyone else noticed that???

The thing that is frustrating is that I didn't mind waiting...I mind not hearing anything from Google. Yes, I know they're saying they should ship soon; however, I personally have no proof or info to back up what they're saying. Had they provided me with some personal info and not a blanket statement saying "They'll ship soon" I would have been happy to wait. Instead they're going to have a return from UPS to deal with.
And now at least if something goes wrong with my unit I have a B&M to take it to.

Ordered the 27th and still no charge to my card or any shipping information... What the hell Google..
Oh where my bad... I put in my tracking number on the my ups app on my phone and I get emails telling me what the expected date and time is every day

I ordered the 8gb and a case. I think Google is just randomly shipping orders. Which makes zero sense to me as the customer. I really hope to get a conformation email tonight but i'm not holding my breath. I just want the thing before the weekend.
Ordered mine June 28th. 8gb with case. No nothing yet. This just sucks and blows at the same time.
my says it when i click the link google sent me. it takes me to ups's website and thats where i can see the time
I pre ordered the Nexus 7 today so I should be on the second wave of shipments. I'm not sure when exactly It'll arrive but I'm hoping for the first week of August or earlier.
