Nm. I called and they will give me a refund. I will get the return number for the Nexus 7 in two days. Call Google and press 2 for the Nexus 7. It has a shorter wait time than Google Play.

If you didn't get the email about when they are going to ship the pre orders I would be concerned and get in contact with Google, if you did get the email they still have till 12am tonight.

I GOT IT. It's pretty awesome. Screen is really nice and yeah just like most everyone who has received it; the box looks really small but when you open it it's awesome. Did some web surfing, watched youtube, read a book and watch some netflix. Works beautifully.

Ordered July 6 at 7:40 AM because I am sure someone will ask. Sorry to people who haven't gotten it yet but it is an amazing device truly worth the wait.

You may because I got the shipping number yesterday around 4 AM and picked it up at UPS at around 8 PM(missed them because they came at 3:00 PM to my house instead of the usual 7 PM) they shipped it from Louisville to NYC.

Google made good. My Play account updated my CC charge from the 18th to the 19th and around 11:30 CT last night my Wallet account updated with a UPS tracking number. It's out for delivery this morning. I hope everyone else's in this thread who had my situation yesterday is also out for delivery. By the way, I never got a shipping e-mail notification. Ah well.

Nexus 7 box! The reports are correct, this was insane to open! Just getting the slide cover off was near impossible. Then theres a couple pieces of tape that are easily cut through, but then the box cover is extremely snug on the box bottom.

I'm loving this thing so much! For those of you that haven't received theirs yet, keep up hope. It will come soon and is totally worth the wait.

I'm going to be calling Google to try to get a refund on shipping, will tell you how it goes.

Here's a tip for unboxing. Hold the box straight up and down over a soft surface (like your sofa) and give it a quick shake downward. The box will pop right out of the sleeve .

Here's a tip for unboxing. Hold the box straight up and down over a soft surface (like your sofa) and give it a quick shake downward. The box will pop right out of the sleeve .

It didn't I had to pry it out of there. NOTHING was keeping me from my Nexus 7 now, if it hadn't come off for another minute, I would have taken a knife to it.
