Just spoke to the nicest guy at Google. I was very pleasantly surprised.
As for info to help me figure what to do considering my vacation, thief in the neighborhood, yadda yadda situation... he could only say that UPS has the device. He doesn't know when they will release them or whatever, thus no tracking #. Without a #, I can't contact UPS to get it held or something. So... I'm no more enlightened and no less nervous about delivery timing.
Silver lining: UPS has it. (perhaps I'm reaching for the silver here)

Yes they are, although I ordered through google and all i've been seeing are rumors about retail stores. But if the rumors say the 12th, then the 12th it probably is. I mean the "rumors" were right about the specs of the tablet long before it came out werent they?

What I would like to know is if the tablets from Google will ship on the 12th or be at our house on the 12th?

From what I know, ship at the 12th at the earliest.

Shipping tomorrow or the 12th and depending on where you are in comparison to a hub it will be either the 12th 13th or 14th when you get it.....Im still thinking it will ship tomorrow and arrive on release day.

He agreed and said that they are going to ship any moment and then spoke quietly to answer my next question, "Will we get them on the 12th like the retail stores", he said yes.

I'm a tech geek, and I must say... I've never been this excited about a new toy in my entire life lol. I REAAAALLLLLY hope he wasn't just trying to shut-up the customers.
