You should be able to call your credit card company and cancel the "hold" that Google Play has placed. If Google can't get to your money, that will surely kill the order.

I used pre-paid VISA and plan on withdrawing the money tomorrow if I do not have a firm ship date. I'll use the money to buy from a local store when they come in stock.

The charge on my American Express account just appeared. Also, Google Play ---> My Account ---> My Orders was updated from the initial order date of July 1 to July 13. I have a good feeling it is on the way.

Nothing today. this is frustrating since I ordered on the 27th. I was truly hoping to see at least the charge from Google on my bank account. Im also about 10 miles from a major UPS hub so theres no reason a label shouldnt have been created.
Very disappointed in Google. I freaking hate apple but if this what I can expect from Google then it sure makes the iphone 5 and the mini ipad look better and better.

Hey guys...just got charged and confirmed in Google Wallet. No UPS tracking digits yet, but those can't be far behind. I ordered mine June 28th. I only live one state from Google HQ, so hopefully it'll get here quick. Booyah!

I don't know, but I went ahead and ordered one from GameStop too. If it can ship out today, we might have a winner for tomorrow. However, I'm sure their overnight delivery option doesn't include Saturday. So, whoever gets it here first wins!

I didn't think I would be that impatient, but it sure was a bummer to know that people who pre-ordered from GS today were getting theirs.

My card was charged this morning, but I have received no email or tracking information. My Play order was changed to the 13th, and my google wallet order doesn't say anything about payment happening yet.
