i ordered an 8gb on the 3rd and got an shipping email about an hour ago.

I pre-orded a 16gb July 7.UPS email says label created on 07/12/2012 package weight 3.30 lbs A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

What's really cool is that I ordered on June 27th and still haven't received an e-mail or tracking number.

There is no doubt that Google is at fault with the communication issue, but are you so sure it is solely their fault?

Why don't you at least wait to see whose fault is was before placing blame. For all you know, the stores that have already sold the tablet should not have...

You mean, like, on the official Nexus release day, today? Uh... Seriously. Stop. Your Google fanboyism is too much. You're trying way too hard by trying to spin this positively for Google.

I'll assume it's Google's fault because of their complete lack of communication. See how that works? I like how you try to bring that up and then spin it another direction hoping I'll forget that that's relevant at all. It is.

Google is the one that chose to charge $14 shipping for two-day while shipping on Friday while every retailer that got them is selling them, shipping them to direct-orderers after they go on sale.

On a separate note, congrats on the baby! Good to see someone who ordered after the 27th (pretty much all I've seen word from) is getting theirs shipped! I ordered the 7th so hopefully my info is coming! Hope you get yours and good luck with the new baby!

Thanks! Good luck with getting your tablet quickly. This is the first time I've pre-ordered anything other than video games and the wait is killing me. Working at Verizon, I'm usually on the other side knowing whats going on and not being able to say anything. Pretty annoying. Thanks again!

I ordered a 16GB on June 27th and just got the email an hour ago that it's been shipped.

I can't believe this thing didn't magically appear in my hands once I was charged! I might have to delete my email account over this one! Way to go Google!!!

Hey folks,

I've been following this page for awhile but haven't posted. Just wanted to drop a heads up on my order status. I placed my order on July 1st for an 8GB model and just received an e-mail from Google notifying me of shipment.

This is the current status on UPS: "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status will be updated."

I noticed it said my shipping label was created on the 9th..which would've been this Monday. Perhaps there was a delay, and perhaps there wasn't. Either way, I'm sure everything will go fine from here and I hope everyone receives their Nexus sometime soon.

I order on the 27 and I haven't got anything from Google. What's worse is I have read a post in this forum from someone in same city as me but order on July 10th and they received their tracking number from google today. Talk about feeling a little burned after reading that post. I also planned to order form play store again in future hopefully for a new nexus phone but not looking forward to another preorder situation like this one.

because its still 2 business day shipping lol.... if it were ground you could wait up to 5 business days and the weekends typically don't count so that's 7 full days.
