I think that the 8 gigabytes ship earlier but not sure. U shouldn't even have to worry about that because u were one of the first to order though. I bet you will wake up to an email tomorrow morning from google though.
Its seems like a lit of the 8GB models are shipping first. Also barely (if any) from CA.

Guys and girls...I hope you get your Nexus 7 soon. Some of you feel like you got burned from Google. But honestly, they did promise 2-3 weeks. Those of us who pre-ordred from GameStop or other retailers who got them today. Trust me on this...its not like the LTEvo or Galaxy S3 pre-orders.
At least there are the sipping confirmations being sent out in the given time frame. The wait is worth it. I can confirm that if you pre-ordered through GameStop or another retailer, the $25.00 Play Store money, the magazines & Transformers movie is there once you enter your email address.
Not trying to rub it in, but this is pretty sweet.

again the wait is worth it.I don't really understand why the people who ordered very early are not getting emails confirming their shipping, while others who ordered more recently are. I ordered July 9 and got a shipping confirmation email with tracking number. While I am excited, I can't help but wonder "why didn't the people who ordered about 2 weeks before me not get this info?" Come on google!

I really don't see why there is discrepancy between the 8 and 16 that one would ship earlier then the the other.
FYI I wake up @ 6am for work so that boost my day like starbuck coffee before work.
Mountain View is obviously in CA but I would like to know where they are shipping the N7 from. I assumed Mountain View but I just don't know.

For the people who got these emails already: does this mean that we will be receiving our N7's on monday or Tuesday because of the 1-2 day shipping?
