It shouldn't matter unlock version get them dont matter who's sim , it's not like how Google does its updates with unlocked .

Thats what i thought too. I have unlocked with TMobile sim and didn't get the update. I had to put a Verizon sim in to get the update.

That's strange, unless something changed with the s20 series, I always had 2 sims from att and tmobile never had that happen just normal roll out some get first batch others following days .

Yes me too. Usually the update was always there for the unlocked no matter what the carrier.

Well cant complain, they are so much better with updates now if they do this way I say let them at least it's not like past experience.

Glad your enjoining it , it looks like a great device just hope they improve major android version updates then we are talking lol.

Yea would be nice if they went more then 2 years with os updates but i dont keep a phone that long anyway. . I would like them to come out sooner

Yeah 2 year major android updates 3 years security, funny thing is s20 just came out so andriod 11 be first major so 12 it stops

This is mine. Its strange that some people is working fine and others isn't. I don't think mine is perfect but it's definitely better than before tbe update.

I'm not sure if it's a physical limitation or just the way it's designed. 8K also the wide angle.

The only issue I notice is if you are focusing on something too close to the lens like a few inches away. That's something I wouldn't normally do with video.

Me either. I think the fix made the camera more usable compared to what it was before the update.

I think they switched to the way Google does which makes sense. It was stupid to wait till all carriers certify anyway so I'm super glad with the change. Ideally I don't like any crappy carrier certification but I'll take with the way Google does and push updates as soon as the particular carrier certifies for the unlocked model instead of waiting till every one certifies.

Unlocked is by Samsung but looks like they going based off carrier
