USB 3.0

That's a cute little reply you made there, but enough with the filibuster. Doesn't change the fact that it's a replica if a number of others are reporting differences between it and an authentic version. If you want to buy a product where a number of reviews state it's not as advertised, that's your problem especially when you want to save a few bucks.

I actual had to bite my tongue on his reply. His statement sounded exactly like the I.T people I get hired to fix.

I wonder if we will need a special usb to HDMI cable or will the one designed for the Note 2 work?

There isn't a special plug for the note 2 or 3, the 2 was micro usb, the 3 is micro b 3.0, the new plug is backward compatible with micro usb and if it worked with the 2 it'll work with the 3, as far as I have read

Not sure if that was pointed at me or not, but if so I can tell you I have fixed my share of IT people's issues as well and saved their butts plenty of times. Regardless do as you wish and buy what you want. I'm done on the topic.

So since the GN3 has microUSB 3.0 and it's a standard, you can confidently buy one from many sources and not have to use a Samsung labeled white one if you don't want to. This of course has nothing to do with a 2A charger adapter, just a cable. As you can see there are many offerings available, yet I am sure their are those who will say you must buy a Samsung Cable in White.

Amazon.com: micro USB 3.0 cable

How you came off was that you were infallible and nobody knows as much as you.

That all depends on how many amps the wall block plug has. Higher amps means faster charging

Do you know of any chargers that support this? Thanks.

Im not sure if you simply need a charger capable of higher amps (2/3 amps) like mentioned above or actually need a QC certified charger. Surely the stock charger will support it.

The S800 is the first in the line to support Quick charge 2.0. 600's and earlier had 1.0 spec QC. Simply put this will lead to 75% faster charging for 2.0 and 40% for 1.0 devices. These increases are compared to a phone without the tech.

Since 2.0 has technically just been released to the mainstream with the G2 we should start hearing more about how the tech works sooner rather than later. Might be a good question to ask in the G2 forums since they know what kind of charger is supplied with the G2.

QC2.0 requires a chip in both the device and charger, they handshake and allow the higher power charge. Unfortunately the chargers won't be available until 2014
