Has anyone purchased any extra cables?

This is my first type C compatible device so I have no extras lying around. Now my wife has a G5 too and we will definitely need some extras. Haha

I'm likely going to stick with the Volutz brand. I've always had great luck with their micro-USB cables. Their USB C cables have an extruded metal tip, not stamped metal (I saw an article saying they are more durable, and you can tell by the lack of a seam in the metal).

They are not USB 3 data speed complaint, but that doesn't bother me.

I owned the 6P when it was released and Benson Leung was the gospel word in all that was cables. I trust his recommendations. Fortunately, I had the 6P, HTC10, Note7 and now the V20 so I have accumulated a lot of chargers and cables now.

Longer charging cord

I hate the length of the v20 charging cord. Can anybody recommend an inexpensive cord that is decent?

Re: Longer charging cord

Amazon has some nice a key cables fairly priced and they are very good quality

I'm using a 6' braided cord from Cambound that I purchased from Amazon for $10.99. It's excellent! Solid build and has a 12-month warranty. Works great!

Re: Longer charging cord

Can anyone suggest any brands that have an extruded metal tip? I think Volutz does, but haven't seen a longer cable from them yet. Most have a stamped metal tip, which you can tell by the seam like this Belkin cable.

Re: Longer charging cord

I would think the longer u go the less it charges fast since the power has to travel farther unless they increased the size of the wire whoa i over thought that lol
