USB C Cables.

Re: Longer charging cord

I would think the longer u go the less it charges fast since the power has to travel farther unless they increased the size of the wire whoa i over thought that lol
You didn't really over think it. One of the reasons I liked Volutz is because their micro-USB cables had some of the thickest power wires available. Even on a 10ft cable, I didn't notice any drop in current compared to the typical 3ft.

USB C Cables & QC3 Chargers

Since this is my first QC3 and USB-C phone, I stocked up. I've been happy with each purchase. I can get QC3 from each charger with either the $11 Aukey cable or the $5.50 BeneStellar.

Whatever you choose make sure it's USB C compliant. Use Google to search USB C compliance Google engineer. Several articles about some cables sold on Amazon arent compliant and can cause some serious damage . Search Android Central for an article titled "This USB-C problem isn't going away anytime soon"

Wow...thank you for the info!

No. I have always used the generic chargers for every smartphone I own and have yet to face one problem. I feel that it all has to do with money making and being told that this is what you need and nothing else. It's a way of I guess scaring people into spending more. I have never fell for that and have never had an issue in my 8 years of smartphone experience. I am currently using a generic charger 6ft long with my s7. No issues. I have been using it for over a month now Cuz this phone is still new. My tablet s2pro has been running on this charger for months now.. I advise that you don't spend your hard earned money, buy the cheaper stuff and it will really do the same job as long as it's from the U.S. not the ones coming from china. :)

I felt that way about audio cables too. Ex.- I can't believe that gold ends would make noticable difference in sound...but what do I know? Lol

Do Anker cables follow this? I bought one and so far my 📱 seems OK with it.

Does this "Quick Charge" the LG V20? There are nice amount of cables which is approved by him but doesn't Quick Charge the V20
Any cable is capable of quick charging. It's up to the design of the phone and charger mostly as long as it conforms to the USB C standards.
