I upgraded my Linksys router to the Google Wifi throughout my house. I'm happy with it except for one minor thing. On my Linksys, I could plug my USB drive to the router, and access content on the USB drive via computer or phone. However, it appears I can't since there is no USB port in Google Wifi.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could do this?

There are NAS (Network-attached storage) drives available (and adapters to turn your USB drive into an NAS). You could also just connect it to a PC and share it.

Thanks. I think I'm going to try an USB to ethernet adapter. I'm hoping that it will work.

The adapter didn't work. But I plugged the direct Internet line into my router, then Goog le Wifi into the router. The speed seems to be fine. I can connect to my USB drive again.

Hi, I am looking for the same solution, but I don't quite understand what you have set up, could you clarify? Thanks!
