USB not mounting after switching kernel.

I have rooted my dinc slcd.
it's running cm7 #36 running with incrediblek 28 kernel.
As soon as i switched my kernel,
my mac stopped reading the phone as external drive.
Is this supposed to happen when you switch kernel?
How can i fix this?

This was a CM7 bug - Try the new stock slayher .37 kernel that comes with #35 and above. That fixed the problem for me. The new kernel also improves battery life.
