USB OTG working?

It seems like USB on-the-go is not enabled for our U.S. Galaxy S2 versions. I used a USB OTG cable with a small thumb drive and couldn't get it to work. So the FM radio is disabled, NFC is disabled, usb otg disabled.......anything else anybody? Kinda a bummer
