USB port not working correctly

Hello,

since some days my USB port is not working correctly.
It takes up to 6 hours to charge my phone(changed the cable multiple times).
If I plug in my Gear VR into my phone the phone recognizes my Gear VR for like five seconds and automatically unplugs it.
I already tried to clean my USB port and did a factory reset.

Hi

I do believe you've done all that we would suggest. If your device did not receive damage by your actions, for example, a fall or liquid damage, they your drive will be covered under warranty. I would suggest contacting samsung support. If you damaged the phone know they won't cover it, then I would suggest bringing it to a local service center, as they'll probably be cheaper for repair.

I have a scratch on the frontside besides the home button(screen is still working). That happened like a month ago or so and the USB port was still working. It stopped working like a week ago.

I have an s6 active, that I dropped, and the screen died, it only had 2 small bumps on the bezel. I sent to samsung, and they replaced at no cost to me. I would suggest sending it in. They won't charge you unless they contact you first....if they see that a charge is necessary, they'll contact you first. If you don't want to pay, they mail it back at no cost to you.
