Using fingerprint sensor

I currently using a note 8. I also use lastpass to log into sites using the fingerprint scanner. It is easy to do since when I pick up the phone my finger is near or already on the scanner. basically there is almost no delay logging into different accounts, including samsung and walmart pay

How convenient is the new fingerprint sensor? Is it as easy to use to log into sites. or is it going to require a little more time and preparation to use? Will I be able to log into the phone as I pick it up or pull out of the pocket as I currently do?

You cant use FPS like the Note 8.you need to tap the screen to wake the AOD then scan... Other than that it's the same.

You'll hear mixed results for this lol
On mine I can find the location without tapping the screen to wake and go right into the phone.
Your prints might not work that well

Update. Turns on it works with screen off too! Hahaha. My bad xD.

I got the hang where to put my finger with screen off , and press that area I'm instantly in without waking the screen, try it

Sometimes I just stare at mine and concentrate and it opens by itself. I become one with phone.

Just found that out.i will need more practice.but its faster than waking first then scan.

Yeah definitely easier when tap screen and it shows up, but if you train yourself you'll be able to do it

I rather have the Fingerprint sensor positioned just like the note 9 on the note 10.

However using my wife's S10 plus I registered my fingerprint to see if it would give her a hard time without her knowing I added myself.

Plus occasionally I'd use her Fingerprint sensor just for my own self informative purposes.

Worked / every time.
She never complained as well. So it works, and worked Excellent.
Positioning the phone so you can place it on there, is the only issue.

With that being said.

It's just better to me with it being in the back,
Ergonomically better.

Under The screen Fingerprint sensors are just an added gimmick.
I see why Samsung took so long to add this. IMO
It's just not that important.

In the future, I see them adding it to the back again.
Is it just me?
