Hello AC,
So I recently stayed at a hotel and managed to lose my USB charger adapter. It's the little black accessory as per here:
https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...om/us/?playredirect=true&hl=en&token=3rN6_9i8
Now before I run off and buy a new one, I was wondering if other usb adapters would work with the Nexus 4? Say, one from the iPhone 4 or 5? I could technically use my microUSB cable and connect it to the iPhone adapter hub, although it is white and looks slightly smaller.
While the manual did say not to use third party accessories, I looked up the specs for both and the only difference is the Nexus 4 adapter has a 5V/1.2A output while the iPhone one has a 5V/1A output.
So my question is, is it safe to try? Will a 0.2 make a substantial difference? Could I possibly brick my phone? I don't know much about voltage and currencies.
Any help appreciated, thanks!
