Using Kies to sync on Mac

Has anyone experienced the issue where Kies does not want to load any files you select to be added or even see your SG3? I've tried numerous times and can't seem to get anything to work. At one point I downloaded an old build but after loading files it would only crash repeatedly. I'm running Snow Leopard, not sure if this is a known issue as I've been unable to come up with anything.

Easy Phone Sync isn't an option since I'm in the US, Easy Phone Tunes continues to give me a USB connection issue, Doubletwist doesn't support MTP, and iSyncr is having known problems with the SG3.

Any thoughts?

I have syncmzye but prefer isyncr. I use isyncr wifi and it works great with my iMac.
