Android Central Question
After a recent software update, my phones battery life absolutely tanked. Since I can't post a link to screenshots, all I can tell you is the drain using data was about %40 in 1 hour. This happened the first time I turned off my wifi and started using mobile data instead, which I have done many times before with results nowhere near this level of battery drain. I also noticed a category I haven't seen before called "mobile network standby" which was using quite a bit of battery. I should note, as soon as I switched back to wifi and turned data off the battery drain was back to normal.
