Using this without a screen protector is always delicate

The only form of protection my Note8 has so far is a Spigen Rugged Armor.

I can’t find a decent holdover protector until I am able to source a Spigen Neo Flex TPU protector that will fit my case, so until then, I’m using it without one.

I always feel paranoid when using it since it is fully exposed and even though Gorilla Glass 5 is technically quite scratch-resistant until a Mohs 6, I always feel like I’m about to scratch this super-pricey phone’s screen at some point between now and when the protector is available.

I don't have a screen protector right now. But my flip case protects the screen when closed.

A Lifeproof Case would be nice

Oh, do you know where I can get custom cases printed? (Like Char Aznable? or some sort of anime character)

No idea. I found a few but they’re for iPhones.

I was thinking of a flip cover just due to how it can cover the screen when unused, but I also am not fond of flip cases because it makes the phone more unwieldy to hold, and given that the Note is already big, a flip case is not the most ideal for me.

I’ll probably just baby it. And by that, I mean I use a rocket blower just for dust. I always get paranoid about that.

Yeah the flip case makes it even bigger. I have a lanyard attached to mine just in case.

Honestly I'm not planning on a screen protector. I just don't care for them myself. I currently have a Defender case and a clear Caseology case. Strongly considering the UAG monarch too.

I'm using WhiteStone screen protector now and I can admit it is the best in the market, but still the phpne without screen protector a lot better. I have seen customizable cases on Groupon, but I don't know if they still there.

Icarer cases are slim flip cases with no real added bulk. I had one on my iPhone 6s plus and I loved it. It's shipping date is 9/30/2017. Just Google it best slim flip case but I paid $25. I can't stand the screen protector. But on the 13th day of ownership I woke up to a scratch on my screen. Luckily att gave me a courtesy replacement. And Samsung let me register the new phone for another promotional freeby

The Whitestone is great, but also very pricey and the chances of it fitting into my Spigen case is super slim.

I have a Gpel tempered glass one with a Gpel case and it fits ok but no denying the sensitivity of the screen is somewhat affected. I ordered a caseology Legion and I don't know if this screen protector will work with it. I was thinking of trying the Zagg

It's expensive, but it's the only option you have if you want a tempered glass screen protector without losing sensitivity. I have three cases and I'm using them with WhiteStone without any problem. My cases are Samsung Alcantara, Speck Presidio Grip, and Spigen Thin Fit Case with SF Coated. The only thing I don't like about this screen protector is when I use the phone without the cases, I miss the beautiful feeling of the phone in hand without the screen protector sharp edges.

Has anyone tried the QMADIX liquid glass? it's applied on the screen itself and comes with a $250 glass breakage warranty. Had a Sprint tech apply this to the front and back of phone... We'll see how that works out. I am using the Spigen thin case (Orchid Grey) and have a Samsung 256 Gb Evo Card. I also bought the S-View case.

I checked the compatibility list.

It works but there’s pretty much zero room for error. If you’re off by the tiniest bit, the case won’t fit.

I think I’ll settle for the TPU Neo Flex. It’s not glass and won’t offer the same amount of protection, but I’m really looking for scratch resistance as that’s my main concern.

I installed the whitestone since I noticed a smallish scratch on the screen after only 1 day of use in an empty pocket... It works with the spigen tough armor case so that's neat.

5 days later and I'm definitely satisfied with the Spigen Neo Flex. After letting it cure for 2 days and even after switching to the white tip on the pen I wasn't absolutely sure how I'd feel about it but a few more days later it's seems to continue to cure and has gotten better and better to me that I can not think about it and move on.

Initially I wasn't liking the impressions the pen left when writing on it. But the impressions have now healed itself/faded to the point they blend in with the slightest of orange peel you get on films so you don't really notice it unless you nitpick by putting the phone up to a bulb. Pen runs smoothly on the film. Won't match that feeling of your pen sliding on ice like glass... but better than pen on paper and the sensitivity is there if you want to lightly draw/write or press hard. Optically the screen looks clear.

If you're going film, I'd have no problem recommending it. Learned to like Spigen products and quality over time. Below is pic of screen just now 5 days later.

Awesome.

Looks like I’ll be getting one and letting it heal for a while. Looks like it’s one of those protectors that hold up better over time.
