What nightly are you running?

So I just noticed I wasn't running the current nightly, I'm running the July 11th now. Lol. But still has signal bug. Will drop a signal if you play a game or try to listen to music and text at the same time....but not all the time.
All and all its OK. I haven't had it drop a call yet.

Hmmm, I can't seem to replicate the signal problems you're trying. I know AT&T has "fake bars" where it shows you good signal and once you make a call, they drop.

I did have looping one time in sim card setup....over and over over....I reflashed the ROM.
Wondering if I should change kernels?

You should try just the stock kernel. Flash the ROM, but not kernel, just the ROM.

OK, heres a way to replicate my prob. Download bowling king game. Play it then exit out. My looses signal, and then shows up no sim, 2 times before staying with a signal.

I did a clean flash of today's ROMs, and I still have that same issue. It doesn't have to be a game, it can be FB or googls chrome....ect still looking for a kernel

You don't need one. Every ROM has it's own kernel.

I have a huge problem now. My phone went into boot loop, just by itself. It was sitting beside my keyboard. So I went into recovery and reflashed the 7-13 rom. Still will not boot up, So I flashed an earlier version of the rom....same. Then I flashed the boosted kernel, with the same results. I had made a back up of the viper rom when it was running, So I restored it....same thing, boot loop. Is the phone dead?

Flash the boot.img of the ROM to see if that helps.

Use CMD on your computer. Do you remember how to do that?

Well, to flash a boot.img, you need to be in fastboot. Does fastboot work?

Sent from my One Xl using AC Forums mobile app

I can get into fastboot, what then..
Wait, I can get to downloader then click on fastboot....is that what you was talking about
