Enter bootloader, then choose fastboot while connected to a computer. Look at the red text. Does it change from "fastboot" to "fastboot USB"?

It has to be the same one as the ROM you flashed.

I found the boot IMG for the Rom and reflashed it. It booted up to the point where it said updating app, then froze and shut off, then just reboot over and over. Any more ideas:(

I have the ruu don't really know how to do that though?

Okay, so it boots up. Do you still have the Gapps files on your phone? You might not have the correct ones flashed.

It almost boots up it goes past the splash screen then the Rom icon screen, then freezes and reboots.
I wiped it clean, factory reset, and just flashed the Rom, no gapps, but the app I got was from the the same guys page with the Rom on xda

You'll need Gapps if it is a stock ROM. Have you check to see if you can mount in recovery now?

You're confusing me. Are you talking about the link that says "Gapps>" on their page?

Please do, I think this is only a soft brick and I want to get you out of it.

Ok, I downloaded the gapps, then went into fastboot USB, tried pushing the zip to the phone, and device not found. I'm using your tool kit

Don't use my toolkit for now. Mount in recovery. Drap the gapps to your phone that way.
