Actually, I did this with my AT&T One X+ and everything works except for S-Off.

Thats good news! I updated to Software version: 1.19.502.1 CL and now my bluetooth is non functional.

Actually, I did this with my AT&T One X+ and everything works except for S-Off.

I'm glad someone had the audacity to try it, The motochopper I think was specifically meant for the One XL but I guess it works for the One X+. The S-OFF files are meant for the One XL only (Thats why I think it doesn't work) and the recovery image I put up is suppose to be for the evita (although you can just get the recovery image for your specific model and follow the procedure because it is the same thing). Now I can congratulate you for doing what you did, but I don't recommend trying things that are meant for something else unless you're really into taking risks. I haven't heard of an S-OFF procedure for the One X+, but I'm not really knowledgeable about anything for the One X+ so there may be one already ( I tried looking because I was planning to make a guide like this one for the One X+). Everything in this post was made for the Evita just to let you know.

I'm having the same issue madcat had. 99 Failure and no S OFF. Everything else worked fine up to that point. I even had the super user prompt pop up but in bootloader it still says S ON.

Honestly the main thing I want to do is remove the terrible bloatware they installed so I kind of was looking forward to S OFF working. I tried your work around as well. I'm clearly new to android tweaking and read the XDA developers forums on how to do it and was terribly confused.

I cant seem to s-off. I approve the super user request but then nothing happens and i cant tyre in "adb reboot bootloader". The last line in the cmd says
root@android:/ #

So, weird news...

I finally got around to giving this a try again. And using the same tools that I had before, using the steps in the first post, I got the correct error code (92) this time and now it says S-OFF RL.

This time I had it plugged into the front of my PC and not the back. Not sure if that made a difference.

So, yay I guess. I'm glad it worked without too much more fuss.

No problem. Now you can flash a rom safely! Make a backup and if I may make a recommendation, you should try carbon rom.

I did everything, step-by-step, and everything worked with little headache aside from S-Off. I simply can't find a workaround to make it happen.

i have att htc one x with 4.1.1 ... i just bought and wanted to get s-off... i did what ya guide said and everything worked except i dont c cid:11111111 and no s-off.... i am rooted and unlocked and have twrp installed.. not sure what else i can be missing... Also i am runing windows 7 ultimate x64 on dell n5040 laptop......

Edit: have started back from begining know get error 99 instead of 92 ...

Yes, you will have to flash the boot.img for EVERY ROM you flash. S-off makes it easy so you don't have to. What do you mean you don't have cid 11111111? Then how did you get an unlocked bootloader?
