If your one x doesn't have a snapdragon S4, then don't use this toolkit.

I jusy tried out your new kit. Will it run on window 7 64x, cause it randomly shuts down with an error. I ran as admin and compatibility with Win XP and it still will not run.

If your one x doesn't have a snapdragon S4, then don't use this toolkit.

You need the latest version of .NET. Make sure you have that.

1ST Off cna you skip around on this Tool Kit..I Mean can you Root it before you unlock the bootloader or do you have to do it step by step....

I just want to try and root it..Then If that works go for the GOLD then..

No, you have to do it step by step. There is a reason for that order. If you already have an unlocked bootloader and flashed a recovery, then you can skip to the rooting section. Other wise, don't try to skip anything.

WELL Everything went as planned ..UNTILL...HTCdev is supposed to send me an E-Mail with the UNLOCK KEY....I Never GOT THE EMAIL...Ive Been waiting for A couple hours....

Now My Phone says Tampered and The sound Is About half of what its supposed to be..

Hi!!!! I have bought an HTC One X AT&T two weeks ago, it's brand new and it came unlocked, I'm outside US, in Costa rica. I updated first to jelly bean 4.1.1 and then Jelly Bean 4.2.2 both manually using the roms provided on HTC support site.

I need to unlock the botloader and have root access to unlock the hotpost WiFi, but I don't know how to do it. So I'm writing you that maybe you can help me with thay.

I do not know if this will work with the 4.2.2 update. For WiFi tethering and hotspot, have you tried FoxFi from the play store?
