The only kernel compatible with kit kat ROMs is the Torched Kernel.

Which one should I get? Considering I really don't uc or oc often. Just really want the features.

Just to let ya know, It just freezes up my PC when I try yo open the exe for the tool. Im running win 7 64 bit. Framework is up to date as well. i have to ctrl alt delete to task manager to close it.

I just tried my toolkit on an old Dell Precision M65 running Windows 7 and it works fine.

Haven't flashed the kernel just yet. I am not receiving incoming pictures.?.?. An singnal keeps going in an out.?.?. Any advice??

Interesting, the one right before this new one worked. The oldest one worked also. Im not sure whats going on.
It doesnt actually freeze. it freezes the folder I have opened with the download in, and unzipped it in. The curser just has the loading circle....and nothing happens.

Aight got picture mail working. Idk y I didn't think of that. Anyways I flashed the torched an kernel, how do u get into the settings for it?

Hey Wizz, I know this for the One X but do you have any advice about rooting the Note 2 or can point me in the right direction? I'm getting rid of my One X and going with the GN2. Thanks brotha!

Dang, that was quick! Well, I'm an HTC guy, not a Samsung guy. Send my friend and fellow ambassador UJ95x a message. He's knows more about Samsung devices. Tell him I sent you lol Hit me up if you need anything else.

I was referring to the kernel settings to enable s2w and dt2w. Ok so with trying codefireX, an candy kat I think I prefer codefireX. I guess in order to enable the kernel settings for torched I'm gonna have to flash supersu. What KitKat roms have u all tried? An which one do u think is faster an more battery friendly?

CodefireX is one of the most battery friendly ROMs. Yes you should flash SuperSU. It's "Kit Kat" not "Candy Kat" BTW. Maybe try SlimKat ROM or Paranoid Android ROM.

I know but now, after having the joys of a rooted RAZR, I can't go back to a stock phone. I'm addicted to the power I have over any and everything in my phone. If I can't get inside the way I want, it's useless to me. Who talks and texts nowadays...lol. Maybe someone will come up with a toolkit before I get a bite on it. But thanks for EVERYTHING! I wish it hadn't come with version 4.2.2 because I definitely wouldn't have taken ANY updates before unlocking and rooting :'(

Indeed it is! Lol Ok so I'm running the most recent cfx nightly, an the torched kernel. Experiencing signal drops very frequently. Same result without kernel. Should I update my radio? Hboot? If so to what??? Current radio an hboot are as follows...

I had drops also, I installed the beastmode kernel and it took car of that!

KitKat roms r not compatible with that kernel. As far as I know the only kernel working with KitKat is the Torched kernel. I was running viper XL, an had to flash the beast as well. It resolved my issue to....
