When my G4 suddenly died 16 months after I bought it - I called LG support and they said will email you a prepaid FedEx sticker. I had never heard the term "bootloop" - and just figured they would get back to me for the repair cost. The next thing I knew was that they were expressed mailing the phone back. Got it back in six or seven days. No charge. No explanation as to what was wrong. It was not until a couple weeks later that I saw the term "bootloop" discussed and that LG had extended its normal 12 month
warrantee.
