When my G4 suddenly died 16 months after I bought it - I called LG support and they said will email you a prepaid FedEx sticker. I had never heard the term "bootloop" - and just figured they would get back to me for the repair cost. The next thing I knew was that they were expressed mailing the phone back. Got it back in six or seven days. No charge. No explanation as to what was wrong. It was not until a couple weeks later that I saw the term "bootloop" discussed and that LG had extended its normal 12 month
warrantee.

That happened to me, TMobile didn't know what was going on and wouldn't help so I upgraded to the V10 from the G4 because it was cheaper than paying them 300 dollars and I needed a phone then, so I called lg, and they had me ship my G4 and I got it back a week and a half later and then I had two phones. Hahaha sold the G4
