V30+ Customer Jealous of Note 8 Display

So I'm in the market for a new phone. The V30+ is at the top of my list because the wide angle camera is very important for my use.

But I'm jealous. A close friend bought the Note 8 2 weeks ago and it's amazing. The screen looks perfect in every way possible. Just a nice overall experience.

So far every V30 I have seen has a slight blue tint issue. While it's not a deal breaker, it's there and the Note is pristine.

Well, I I'd a V20 previous to my Note (and so.e other phones). Enjoyed it but I've alwayd been a Note person. I've had my Note 8 now since Sept 7 and absolutely love it. Ideal phone for me and so many great features.

I had the v20 as well and it had a blue tint compared to the Note. But it is somewhat adjustable in the color settings. Will never have the contrast of an AMOLED screen though.

My son has the V30 plus. I'm not going to hate. But if there was an Lg phone to buy, that one would be it.
My son did some speed testing, the note 8 clearly was the faster phone. But the Camera in the V30 plus I'm definitely going to stop hating on that phone.
I just hate all the BootLoop problems I've had with their phones.
But you get a 2 year warranty with Lg, good move Lg.
Buy what makes you happy.
I always try to get my son to cross back over to Sammy, but he likes Lg phones, ehh, it's on you, keep researching another weak. One plus 5 coming soon.
Lg is a little cheaper.

Will being on Sprint, I lose out on a lot of phone options. I've also suffered through the G4 debacle.

I did make my choice though. Tonight I'm thoroughly enjoying setting up my new V30+

Not saying it's better by any means. The Note 8 is stellar. I just love the wide angle.

Yeah I really could have went either way. I really like them both but I went with the V. Time will tell right lol.

Not sure why a $1000 phone purchase is such an emotional/exciting experience.

I'm still rocking the S7, been thinking of getting a new phone, it's a toss up between the Note and V30. Not sure if I'd rather have wide angle or telephoto lens. I want the S Pen, but dislike the edge screen.

Definitely a hard decision between the 2.

Well I've been loading all my stuff and setting up everything so my usage is high. I still have %60 with almost 4hrs screen on time. That's just crazy talk lol

Oh ok. So same battery size as the note8. Since I'm a note junkie I don't bother even looking at other phones. My fiance has the v20 and he doesn't like it anymore. Been having problems with it. He been thinking of the v30 or note8. V30 glass back also?

Yes, glass back as well. I looked a lot at the Note 8 and the V30 before buying. They have a lot of physical similarities. The Note being a bit larger and a bit more heavy. The V feels very light but both feel great to hold.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I'm just gushing cuz I'm blown away with the battery so far.

It actually does have a slight curve. Not quite as pronounced as the Note though and there is no type of edge display. Makes for a comfortable in hand feel. Very similar to the Note.

Oh ok. Thanks. I told him he might think the note8 is nice but he wouldn't use the spen and he really shouldn't have a curved or glass phone. He'll break it lmao. Even with a best case possible. He really don't care for these new phones now days anyways. He just really wants to just be able to make calls, text, check email, Facebook, stuff like that. I told him I was going to try to look into something cheaper cause he doesn't want to spend alot on a phone that he ain't going to be glued to like I am with my note8. Lol. I told him that in that case note8 should be off the list lol. He even tried my iPhone 7 plus and he didn't like that one lol.
