So I picked up my Note 5 and I'm loving it.
Of course, always needing the "latest and greatest", I had to upgrade after having the Note 4 for only 10 mos...paid a lot to AT&T to buy it out on my Next Program :(
I figured I'd have NO problems selling it on CL, asking $450?
It's been 5 days in the NY metro area and I haven't received a single offer???
What gives?
Any thoughts?

Prices on ATT devices have been down on CL in the NYC market. Since the payment plans, and the carrier ability to lock the phone, makes it hard to verify. So you need to meet up and call (when buying) to verify the IMEI is clean and also has no payment plan attached to it. Also android devices (especially in our market NYC) drop quickly. I just took 450 for my S6 edge it was 500 but i got people who lowballed me when i got there, usually i back out and dont play that game but figured I would just sell. I purchased a note 4 many months back for 450 off CL.

People have had good luck selling on swappa.com. They have recent and historical price info.

450 seems very high for note 4 when you can buy it brand new from the store for about 100 more. Maybe less. I would drop it to 350.

They are going for 400-450 here in the south on CL. High demand now that many Note users don't want the N5.

You might want to have the phone unlocked and list it as Unlocked AT&T phone. I have sold all my unlocked AT&T phones much quicker and for more money than my locked AT&T phones.

When you find the person who wants the Note 4 send them my way to get an additional battery kit that Ihave left over. I also have a battery for the Note 3.

Try swappa.com. I'm done using Craigslist for phones. Swappa is easy, only a $10 fee (unlike eBay's 10+%). Can see buyers reviews.

So I've still been unable to sell my Note 4 , 10 mos old in perfect condition.
No offers on Swappa and only lowballs on CL!

All I can say now, having gone through my first phone on AT&T Next Program...I paid $840 for it ( $35 x10mos + $480 to buy it out ) and now I can't sell it! The phone companies are making a lot money getting full retail for these phone now.

It's been on CL in the NYC area , I started at $475 and have lowered it twice and now to $400???

I've been following what they've been selling for on EBay...around $350+...
after Ebay's fee and paypal fee...it's too much to lose.
