Verizon and Motorola throwing Droid-focused event on October 27

I'm really excited to hear about this. If the rumors are true, the phone should go on sale two days after the announcement on October 29.

Other than the processor I'd like to know what the difference between these two are. And if the 615 processor is enough to meet my web browsing needs

I'm trying to be patient. Of the current lineup, I'm likely going to get a G4. I'm liking what the Turbo 2 rumors are saying, but I think it'll come down to if it has an sd card slot, IR blaster, OIS, and how the screen looks. If the screen has a yellow tint like AMOLED screens, that alone is a deal breaker. Never heard of a POLED screen.

I'm guessing foxfi won't work for WiFi tethering on this just like all the other Moto phones. I've always gone for Moto(droid) phones, but I think I'm going to have to jump ship and give the new nexus a try

I think last year was better when they only had one droid come out. The year before saw the droid maxx and the droid ultra, same phones, one w a bigger battery.

I haven't read anything official but seems like the new leaked versions, one will have a big battery and one will be the shatterproof model. Why not just make one phone again, with the moto maker options?

I loved the turbo, and didn't care too much about the slow update, but the turbo was everything in one phone, and i would guess it did well for verizon and motorola.

Sent with my white Note5 with nonremovable back and no SDcard!

Do you think this will be available to purchase unlocked? I'm on sprint and do not feel like switching over, but this phone looks really amazing.

Locked like fort Knox I would wager.

Bummer, this is the perfect sized phone with a really nice battery. I just don't like verizon's update scheme.

Verizon LTE phones are not SIM locked.

If you want the DROID MAXX 2, import the Moto X Play.

If you want the DROID TURBO 2, import the Moto X Force when it becomes available.
