Verizon CEO confirms tierd data plans...

Having looked at my usage for the last 12 months, I have to have unlimited options. If Verizon ever takes away 'unlimited' options, I'll stop buying smartphones.

As far as tablets are concerned, I know I'm sticking with Wi-fi as long as possible -- especially if we can get them to work with PdaNet. Who needs yet another damn monthly bill?

I think CNET's Molly Wood brought up a great point about how we're paying time and time again for the same damn data. I wish the carriers would just sell us data access on whatever freakin' devices - or as many as - we decide to use.

Once there is no longer unlimited data, this will be possible.

UNlimited data is the number one thing preventing data agnostic plans

Don't forget to vote on Nov. 2nd you too can put another crooked politician into office. The founding fathers would be crying in shame at where we are today.

I agree. They are crying in shame at the expansion of government into our lives.

You want bandwidth, you have to pay for it or go elsewhere.

I sure don't want a nanny state to intervene on my smart phone to the point they start telling providers how much to charge. Let free enterprise take care of providers.

I'm guessing that at least 90 percent of the geographical area of the USA or 97% of the population of the USA has at least two cell phone carriers to choose from; therefore, if you don't like one, choose another. It is called free enterprise.
