Verizon Charge or Incredible2? Which would you recommend?

I am hoping to buy my first smartphone today or tomorrow, after over a month of reading, learning. I considered waiting a bit longer for some of the things that I hear are cominbg soon, but now with Verizon's unlimited data plans going extinct by July, I think I should get my new phone now.

Sticking with Verizon. I am considering HTC Incredible 2 and Charge.
The 4G thing doesn't matter, since it's a non-factor, really. I'm sure it will be a must-have in about 1- 1/2 yrs, so I'll wait until my next contract runs out for that.
I've heard HTC's system is better than Charge. I really like the Charge (since I won't get the hyped up phones of the near future, the Charge seems like a great phone to settle on) HTC Incredible 2 is a bit older now, and Charge is new. But I've heard even with that, HTC system (operating system, maybe?) is a better system.

Some additional info:
I'm not a gamer. I will add music. YouTube and other videos, yes. Full length movies, probably not. Perhaps live streaming of Big Brother this summer (they have a mobile app now.)

I'm hoping for some quick responses, as I'm itching to get the phone tonight or tomorrow. (almost 5pm EST now) My last contract ending May 11th, and I've been patient long enough! :)
(PS: for Big Brother fans, email me for a good spoiler blog. I don't know if I can post it here, and I don't want to break any rules.)
PS: Is this the correct place for this post, or should I post this in another area? Thanks!

Thanks in advance! :)
Suzie

This is a tough call Suzie.

HTC makes a solid phone. To be honest, I never trust a company that makes vacuume cleaners also.

Stay with HTC. And if you want my opinion between the 2, Dinc2

I'm not on Verizon (I'm on Virgin Mobile Canada) and I think I'd probably go with the Inc2. In fact, I'm looking at picking up that same phone when I'm due for an upgrade a couple months down the road (unless they pick up some "better" phones before then). Seems like a great phone for my wants/needs which seem similar to yours (minus the Big Brother lol)

I would go with the INC2. I have the INC and love it. Super fast and very little bugs. I think the INC2 with the slightly larger screen would be even better.

Better is always highly subjective, regardless of topic and it's no different with Android UI's. You'd need to determine which UI you prefer for yourself. If one UI was universally better then we'd all be using it.

None of this really helps to narrow down the choices. Any other requirements? Have you compared devices in person to assess your preferences for physical characteristics (size, weight, form factor, display, "build quality" etc)?

Jeeeeze.... Just buy what you can afford. Chances are, you will buy a different and better when it comes out.

Not much better than HTC. It's why they sell more phones than all other manf combined.

Like we all do.

That basically sums it up. I have the DINC and it is awesome. I find that HTC's UI (Sense) is cleaner, faster, and more user-friendly, but it is up to what YOU like and what YOU want.
