I signed up for FEDEX and UPS shipping notifications about a week before we were hoping the AT&T models would ship. FEDEX sent me a notice they had a package to pick up for me before I got anything from AT&T!

Just called to make sure my debit went through (yes my wife and I use two debit cards, one tends to get depleted) and it was confirmed that a debit of $78 and change went through. This is the price for the first month's edge program. Thirty plus activation fee. She spent forever trying to pin down when it would it be delivered and the best she could do was say by the ninth or tenth the latest. I can live with that.

Actually I think it is the price of the phone plus sales tax. I think even though you pay over time with Edge you have to pay the full sales tax upfront.

Ya know what? You are right! It was September 6th that I placed that order and my memory was fuzzy. This makes sense.

Verizon actually charged me twice, but.. I don't really care right now. I'm just glad they're charging me lol...

On Verizon Mine went from 10/10/2013 shipping to not shipped yet and not charged yet. But on My Verizon it says my phone number not available for upgrade due to ordering phone that has not been activated yet. Order date was on first day of pre order.

Found out they tried to charge credit card but wouldn't go through. Then I remember I had to cancel that card due to the number being stolen and used for several hundred dollars the day after we used it in the Verizon store to purchase my wife's iPhone 5s. We always pay by check and we tried to pay the sales guy stated there was no place for checks just cash or credit. It was turned into Capitol One and Verizon fraud dept.

Called they had to cancel that order and reorder she went and talked to a supervisor who would be able to put a rush on this new order. Took my new credit card number put in new order with a supposedly a ship date by 10/10/2013

I had the same issue! My credit card fraud protection declined the payment so I contacted my card fraud account and told them that I did in fact make the purchase. They refreshed my account for me. I then called Verizon and had them resubmit the payment and it went through this time with my ship date holding strong at 10/10! What a relief! I was FREAKING OUT.

Mine got charged as well! So far, I have refrained from going to the store to play with the phone, because i want the first one I touch to be my very own. LOL.
