Verizon Galaxy Nexus (Prime) Waiting Room

I just had a realization that may or may have been covered in this massive thread:

It makes perfect sense for VZW to release a Nexus phone (one that is bootloader unlockable in some form) on 11/27 or around there; all the OG Droid owners who got that phone in the first month it was out (release date was 11/6/2009) will have their 2-year contracts coming to an end! Maybe VZW realizes all those customers suffering with ailing Droid 1's will only finally upgrade to something worthy and unlockable...

And since most of those customers will likely have an NE2 available, VZW will be tempting them with the Nexus to get rid of any remaining "free"/"heavily discounted" upgrades.

Makes sense to me, but let me know if I got something wrong...

The Nexus S looks just like the Epic4g IMO and is very similar to all the Galaxy phones so if Moto were to make the next Nexus i can see it looking a lot like the Bionic. The original look of the Bionic was changed and left for Sprints Photon. It looks a lot like the Bionics old look with just straighter corners to me.. With the rumors being 4.6 inch screen and the new Bionic 4.5 its a possibility. Just remove the buttons and ad a larger screen... Nice,,,,

Droid 1 owners who bought in nov. 2009 were able to upgrade in July. 4 months early. This works for anyone who bought a phone on a 2 year contract in march 2010.

I can confirm this, my upgrade became available in July. Interesting theory though. :p

All they are gonna do with the next iPhone is make it a little bit faster, a little bit thinner, add ANOTHER camera, and make a white version after it has been released for a year :)

Sure, we could upgrade in July, but if we don't, we can *leave* Verizon in November. The Nexus Prime would be a powerful incentive to stay.

yeah, they are going to add a flash too, oh, don't forget a twitter button!, since twitter has supposedly been integrated into the OS now!, yeah, apple will call it orginal, who cares if the "share" button on android phones has had the twitter option for years now, right?

BREAKING NEWS. Black_manx tweeted to ME that he expects some nexus 3 news/leaks by Monday or Tuesday. He knows these things.

Wow. Well I'm defiantly looking forward to that. Hope it offers solid info on the device or even a picture of a prototype.
 
I'm a Sprint user and If this is the Nexus used on all carriers then I'm not to sure about this one. I feel like I would HATE a 4.6 inch screen. I would want 4.3 at biggest. 4 inch on my Nexus S 4G is great. Beside that all looks well, if we see a Sprint version ;)

Its really 4.3. the .3 is for the on screen buttons

I don't even want something that size. The form factor of the last 2 Nexus phones is perfect.

Exactly, and you guys are assuming how navigation will work on this device. Truth is, we don't know how they're going to pull thisnoff if at all. For all we kmow the button aren't visible and a swipe up from the bottom of the screen up could bring up the buttons. Who knows. So with this leak I want to see some ICS, really that's what catching my eye.
