I have been following this thread for a while, but it's gotten pretty gigantic so forgive me if i bring up something already mentioned.
First of all, beings ICS is meant for both tablets and phones, it would make sense to have a large screen tabletphone type situation. it would also make sense to have both a new nexus phone and a nexus tablet in order for google to set the bar on both kinds of devices for their platform.
It's been said before, but it wouldn't make any sense for samsung to use TI chips since they like to keep everything in-house, so it's likeley someone else. I would prefer motorola over LG, because in every LG touchscreen device (both smart and dumb phone) they have had sluggish response times (my dare was more responsive than the revolution I played with) Also, it fits with google's MO to use a different manufacturer since they want as many people on board as possible. I'd be really interested in what a Moto nexus would look like, since the nexus one still fits in with HTC's current designs, same with nexus s and sammy (though that should be obvious since it's still on shelves) if it did end up being moto instead of LG (which is what it looks like is the consensus these days) it would be so different looking from the nexus s, going from so round to (likely) so boxy This, of course is all hypothetical. If it comes to verizon though, it would be weird for moto to be building 2 very similar devices for the same carrier. I just really don't want it to be LG. maybe SE (rofl)
as far as release date goes, if it's in november that would mean an 11 month release cycle on nexus devices, putting the next one after this in oct 2012? i feel it would be more likely to be in december and continue to be a winter release schedule. I guess as long as it comes to verizon, i'm happy since my upgrade isn't untill december 19, not that that really matters since i may buy off-contract anyways, depending on the state of data plans.
