The weight of the box is stated on the FedEx tracking slip.
The phone and the SIM card have the same tracking number. I will be getting my phone on Tuesday.

I think you're going to find one of two things....either the tracking # is for a SIM card or trade-in box they sent you....OR, that the Note 8 package WILL arrive at your local FEDEX or other depot and be HELD until September 14th....I wish they were coming sooner, but I seriously doubt it....I ordered right at midnight when they went on sale and got shipping information...When FEDEX delivered it, it felt like an empty box...it WAS. It contained the mailer for my trade-in phone...in my case the S7 Edge I had to pick when I returned the Note 7.
I'm not trading in my old phone.
I own it now.
And I have never ordered had a sim card shipped separately from the phone.
Verizon always ships their phones with the SIM pre-installed.
And it says in the email that Verizon sent me that the SIM card is pre-installed.
And according to FedEx the package is two pounds.SIM cards don't weigh two pounds.
You said what I've been sayingI pre-ordered the Note 7 last year. My phone NEVER left Memphis for almost 2 weeks. It would show left Memphis then within an hour it would say arrived Memphis. When my phone got to the DenverColorado hub, I got my Note 7 THE VERY NEXT DAY! I don't recall of it was Wednesday or Thursday though. But I got mine the same day people started posting they got their Note 7.
So this is NOT the same as last year. And with Verizon PUBLICLY saying they ARE coming VERY EARLY, I think Tuesday is the day.
Also, Samsung may have okayed this as the iCraple 8 is due to be unveiled the 12th. So if they stood by the 15th release people may cancel the Note 8 for the iCraple 8. Don't understand why though, it's a iCraple!!!!
A gift for ourselvesWell.....they are not gifts, we are paying a lot of money for it LOL but i get the excitement part ...
Just curious but how are you able to follow every city it's been through? Mine only says from Tmobile Louisville, Ky and that is where I live so I suppose since the major UPS Hub is right here it doesn't have to be shipped anywhere but to my front door but nothing is moving with tmobile. I'm not sure how all this shipping Works especially coming from FedEx or UPS they all have different shipping procedures. I'm assuming all the phones came from Korea on a UPS plane or a FedEx plane they go to the major hubs which here in Louisville it's ups is a major distribution center so a lot of stuff sits over in their warehouse no matter what you're ordering I order a lot through Amazon and I can get it the next day I actually I've gotten some on the same day so that's why I wonder why this phone is having to sit there so long and I'm assuming it's because T-Mobile has not released them yet but it looks like Verizon and Sprint have release theirs unless the date is wrong and then mine is practically at my back door and they won't release it. It's all pretty strange and we'll all get them but it would be nice if things would start moving!
My comment was actually directed at the person who said that it could be a SIM card or a return box. I was implying that I'm sure you or whoever it saw the weight and you knew what it could be and not be.The phone and the SIM card have the same tracking number. I will be getting my phone on Tuesday.

They most likely will come in separate 2lb boxes. I ordered 1 and my box weighs 2lbs.The weight on my shipment says 2.0# (I ordered 2 devices)
My weight says 1.2 lbs.... How can they be different, they are the same phone?
Was yours a AT&T or Verizon phone Kevin? The weight of the box is stated on the FedEx tracking slip.
