Verizon: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

Mine is still in Memphis too. By 8p Tuesday...I hope.

I have a (budding or nascent) theory that the disparate locations mentioned in our notices represent 'guaranteed stock' to satisfy these orders of ours. In my case, I wouldn't be surprised to seem 'my' device's location suddenly shift to West Chester or Coatesville, Pennsylvania (as with every previous Verizon shipment dating to 2010) since these locations are much, much closer to where I live. We'll see!

FedEx shipping makes no sense to the non logistics person (like me), but it's not uncommon for a shipment headed west from Nevada to CA to to go all the way to Memphis first before it heads to CA. TMO users already have their IMEI numbers, so if VZW is the same, then your specific device is where your tracking number says it is.

Well mine has gone from PA to NJ and it is now in Baltimore. So its ready to go on the truck for delivery come tuesday!!!!!

That has occurred to me. The paperwork would need to be sealed inside along with the 'uniquely' ID'd SIM card, would it not? Suppose there could be bulk quantities housed somewhere. Paperwork could be generated, SIM cards flashed then over-packed prior to final delivery.

Another good point, yes your paperwork would have to be in the box and the shipping label would be on the box as well. FedEx won't pick up a box without a filled out label. Their business is delivery and logistics, not applying destination labels to packages and figuring out who gets what.

Mine has been "in transit" from Memphis for about 24 hours now.

I will stop refreshing the FedEx tracking page every hour.

My Samsung/Verizon Note8 is still in Memphis, Tennessee, with over a thousand miles to go before Tuesday but I know that FedEx's jets're fast.

Only a matter of hours, certainly fast enough to get there for delivery on Tuesday, just depends on how quick they process it once it gets to where ever city you are in. I'm not with either one of these carriers and I haven't gotten an update since Wednesday (the 30th) but mine is coming UPS and I am in Louisville where it is probably sitting right now waiting to be released. A lot of people from Verizon/Samsung/Sprint have gotten something telling them it will be delivered Tuesday so who ever has gotten one of these Good Luck!!!!
