Verizon: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

The blue is a very subtle blue, I played with one at BB the other day. Its definitely not the Coral Blue from the past few years.

Yeah to me from videos and pic the ocean blue looks close to my deep sea blue note8. But ocean blue look like it might be darker. I'm tempted to go but I can hold off another week. Lol. Thanks.

It IS dark. Like I said I saw it at BB. Much darker than the last blue models they have.

I just went and looked at my order, and my order (from the 10th) still says deliver by 8/24...also my shipping is set to "free 2 day by 8pm"....so take that as you well but I would think that means we should see shipping no later tha Wednesday. So, I'm going to not worry about all of this "backorder" talk and assume everything is still a go for the early pre orders.

Have you seen the purple in person? Just curious if it look better in person than in videos or pics.

The purple looks better in person, IMO. I saw it at Best Buy and I almost preferred that color scheme. The ocean blue with the yellow S Pen looks like it's a Best Buy motif. Yuck.

It looks like the purple S9/S9+ and that's not necessarily a women's color. I slap on an Otterbox Defender case and it makes the color irrelevant.

Lol I can see best buy trying to have that color just for them haha. I can deal with the yellow. I just wish they at least made the sides of the phone yellow too. But yeah. Least while spen in phone you will only see blue. I saw yesturday Verizon had the spares for sale. The yellow and purple. I don't mind purple really. Blue just wins 99% of the time lol

Lol. Yeah both note 7 I had(1st one and replacement) were awesome as well. Miss that phone. But they did better with note8 and I'm sure the note9 too.

Yeah. I never thought I would ever be so sad over a phone. But I was that is for sure. We loyal note fans lol. If it was a different phone I would be like ok let me go find another phone lol.

Just had a chat with Verizon customer support and the guy I talked to said both of my phones will be delivered on the 24th even though the app still says it should ship around the 24th.

Were they the blue 512? Those are the ones of concern, because as of now, there are no reports of the blue 512 being shipped by anyone. There are lots of shipping reports on the others.
