I'm having a pretty serious problem... almost every single app i try to open, crashes... for example "Unfortunately, Doodle Jump has stopped"

Hmm. No she seems to have connectivity while I don't. Not sure what the issue is.

I think it's definitely Verizon. My wife was out and just told me she couldn't get Pandora in the car. She figured it was a Pandora issue.

My 4g has been coming back and disappearing but at least I can see the icon... At least I know it wasn't the 4.3 upgrade. I hate coincidences.

I'm liking the fact that my phone seems to be running smoother with this update. Seemed like it was starting to lag at times before. That said, I'm in agreement with others who say that their battery is draining faster. I was around 50% by lunch time and that's definitely not normal.

Definitely a little bummed about the FoxFi blocking too. Pretty lame move Verizon. I pay through the nose for 4GB a month...I should get to use that 4GB however I want to.

My email font has changed and is to small to read. My font is at large already but still email font stays small. Hate the new look with email. And those stupid guys took away navigation . Why why why

Since downloading 4.3 my i can not use voice commands from my blue ant Bluetooth. It says that voice commands are not supported on the connected device. I can receive calls and texts ok. All was good until 4.3. I contacted Samsung and they said to reset phone and reinstall 4.3 via Kies 3 which i did. Nil fix. Then they said it was googles problem as. They made 4.3. I have also unpaired and repaired blue tooth. Any suggestions?

Took away navigation???? Google Maps still navigates fine on my phone.

I did and feel like battery life is worse after the rest. I have even eliminated some alerts and widgets and a couple things.

soccerdude2014, I have the same problem (though not "almost every single app, but I guess about half of them)... I posted in the first page of this thread, but it seems I was ignored... )
I did find out, though, that if you uninstall and reinstall the problematic apps, they work again (though I haven't had the patience to do it will all the problematic apps yet, and one of them still crashes on opening from time to time). I imagine this means a factory reset (and redownloading all apps) should fix this problem, though I have never done that and I'm afraid my backup might not work (it didn't for single apps when I uninstalled and reinstalled)...


One question: did you have low available memory when you did the update? I have a feeling the update should not have fit in the phone's memory, even though it did update...

Only problem I’ve noticed so far is that the app icons for all apps I’ve moved to my SD card are now transparent.

Yes, but only thru USB myself. Others have reported that Bluetooth works too, but not WiFi Hotspot... yet.

Hi everyone,

This is my first post and I am hoping to get some answers here. I purchased my NEW S3 Blue yesterday on Craigslist for $140. I have a had a DroidX since its release. The only reason I decided to upgrade was FoxFi, It worked great on my DroidX. When I activated my S3, I made the mistake of updating to 4.3 without first reading reviews. Of course, the first thing I wanted to use was FoxFi and to my dismay, it does not work. Fortunately, I am able to use it via USB but I would like to use it for my Note 10.1. Is it possible to roll back to 4.2.2 on stock rom?

Welcome to the forums, and sorry for the bad news but - no, you can't roll back. Don't even try to use Odin to revert to a previous build (BTW, 4.1.2 was the previous build - this phone never had 4.2.2, at least, not on Verizon) or to load a custom ROM unless you want to turn your new $140 phone into a paperweight.

4.3 includes an Enterprise feature called Knox which makes the phone more secure for companies that offer BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policies. One of the components of Knox is a secure bootloader, which plays havoc with attempts to load custom firmware. YMMV.

If tethering is important to you then it's time to sell that and perhaps look at the Moto G - $200 off-contract! Not quite as capable as big brother Moto X (no LTE; no active notifications) but a great price.

I'm having mixed reactions to the update. My biggest issue is my music apps, Pandora, Songza and I Heart Radio either don't open or close after playing one song.
I've wiped the phone's cache and uninstalled and reinstalled the apps.
Any ideas?
