I searched and couldn't find any reasons..... does anyone have the reason why Verizon Wireless allowed pre-order so long ago yet not shipping until 04/01? Looking for legitimate reason not the normal "Big Red is always the last". =D

Marketing. Order before available is a way to hook you and reel you in. So did it work? Did you pre-order?
