This is really getting absurd. Does anyone have any idea what is going on here!?! You have verizon who posts commercials, then removes them. Leaks release dates and then pulls them back. Announce it'll have skype, now the delays are because of skype.
Then you have bestbuy that announced that they're the exclusive retailer a month ago, posts a thunderbolt page on the website, then pulls it. Now, they put the info page back up, but nobody knows how much the damn thing costs. On the same page, bestbuy has posted flash version of their weekly circular and their march cellular buyers guide. The circular says the phone costs $250 with activation, the buying guide says $300. WTF!?!
I've been waiting a long time to upgrade to a smartphone. I've really needed a new phone for like 4 months, but waited this long because vz announced they were going 4G in OCTOBER. Even worse, I'd really like to take advantage of bestbuy's buyback program, which if free for like 4 more days, that will give me $150 for my thunderbolt in 2 yrs when my contract expires.
Is there any end in sight to this fiasco?
