Verizon Glitch = Moto X Purchase

What time did you order yesterday? Just trying to get an idea of when I should expect my shipping info.

I just checked the FedEx Delivery Manager and my phone is on the way, just haven't received tracking info yet.
 
You said you picked up in store. Have you tried to activate yet? Using the new SIM or cutting your micro SIM?
 
What's the benefit of cutting the SIM? My Galaxy Nexus SIM won't fit.

Activate the nano Sim and adapt up from there. Why cut a micro sim. Its stupid. Activate the nano in the moto x. Then use an adapter to adapt up in size. I activated the nano Sim in my moto x and also use it in my HTC one with a nano to micro adapter.

Same here, just received the shipping notification. I'll probably wait to activate it until Verizon gives the word.

I've read conflicting reports that plans are tied to the SIM card so if you activate the nano SIM that comes with the x you might get bumped to tiered data. That's why I'm saying cutting the micro to a nano. Not sure whether it not that is true is another question.
 
I wasn't thinking about the verizon issues regarding the unlimited plan. Just giving me input on SIM cards and adapting. If you cut the micro just right it will work. I am on att. Switch the cards anytime I want.

Two weeks ago I was able to order the Moto X and maintain my same unlimited plan. My billing cycle already switch and my plan still untouched. I cut my current micro SIM to nano size cause I did not want the system to switch me to tier data plan if the new SIM was activated. I have try to order another phone to upgrade my wife line and has been unable to do it, even yesterday. Not sure if only work on the main line and not on my secondary lines...
 
Wednesday delivery for me as well let's hope data stays the same contact is different also

Well that's somewhat reassuring news.
 
My phone gets in today. I'm happy I waited. I was going to wait for Motomaker and perhaps the 32gb version, but that's not a sure thing.

Can't wait!
 
Managed to get through two years with the Bionic, and when the glitch popped up over the weekend I knew it was time. Moto X is out for delivery!
 
I feel I missed out on saving a lot of $ because I have to pay full price to keep my unlimited. Only thing holding me back on the weekend is if there was a risk of losing unlimited, and of getting yet another bad phone and didn't want the hassle of more exchanges. I'd rather wait for the update before buying it again (to see if fixes voice cutting out issue).
