Well with my ship out date at November 8th, looks like Verizon failed me with the release before I leave. Sucks but everyone enjoy the Nexus ill have to wait a few months. Thank you Verizon!

the light is on the bottom along with the headphone jack (which by the way I hate the placement of both) as I use my devices for music while I work out it and in the car through the headphone jack I get concerned about stress on the port sitting in my cupholder... definite failure point as I had one go back for that already..

but the light is quite noticeable.. and works fine just kind of weird to have to look at the bottom to see it..

Sorry for quoting so far back, but can you confirm whether or not it's multicolored? Out of all the things there is to know about this phone, this is the thing bugging me the most. lol

Can't say I'm surprised. I don't know about you guys, but I can live with waiting another week. Besides, my upgrade is the 19th. I'm sure Verizon wont really fight me for an upgrade two days off. At lleast I'm hoping they don't. Lol.

Yeah they took the whole geek wait in line type of excitement right from me. I think this phone could have generated that type of hype (iPhone release news coverage type) if it were handled better

I have been saving my upgrade since March of 2011,if it isnt available til Nov. 17,2011 isnt going to kill me but the extra week will drag by I am sure.
I'm going to pre order to as soon as its up on verizon's website to do so .
I'm guessing since the Razr is already showing /and they are taking pre orders they want to push those out before the take Nexus pre orders sales.

you cant pre-order, I know that much

they will probably let you do it but they told me (I'd be 6 weeks early) that they would let you upgrade early BUT you might not be able to order day 1

Ummmm did anybody else notice panda said "things could be turning to crap"? I pray he does not mean they're thinking about canning the launch? Could you clarify what you meant by this? I hope he means the date is turning crapy and not the launch itself. Ah man waiting for this phone is an emotional ride. I need a new device so bad and nothing besides this one interests me in the slightest bit.

Well he also said something about verizon wanting to space out releases, so "things could be turning to crap" could mean that the launch may slip to late November/December, at least I hope that's all it means, I don't want this to be another nexus one

Having posted the email sign up page, I thinks it's well past the deal falling apart. I do think that EVERYONE should sign up...not to get email notifications, but to let Verizon know how many people are interested in this device.

I hope so, I know the community will be very let down if this doesn't go through. I mean, I had absolutely no doubt it was coming because they released a press release unlike the n1 (Google said they would make a vzw version but vzw never announced it themselves) plus the sign up page but those words make me think. I'm praying he meant the date. I don't mind having to wait a few more weeks as long as its coming 100%. My phone's pretty beat up right now so this does suck though

I been following panda on twitter to and he said the device was ready, it was vzw that was not ready and then also of vzw spacing out phone releases.
I think the Nexus is going to happen it just everybodies on edge about it since it might be delayed til 17th.
Someone needs to pass out the chill pills lol

17th = release date for Europe.

21st-24th+ = release date for Verizon.

Its pretty obvious nobody knows when it's coming truthfully. We have all just been playing on words. I am over this crap lol. VERIZONS service is good but if they abort I will gladly pay my etf go to att and get the slimmer unlocked one.

Yep! so would I . Of course I want it sooner but, Nov 17 is not bad. I probably won't get it until a little later anyway since I'm ordering it online.

yeah if verizon cancels the release I will do the same because my contract is just about up. I don't think it will come to that but I will be getting this device whether or not verizon does
