That IS it!!! I've HAD it!! I didn't want to do this, but big red is forcing me! I'm sending this to big red (maybe)!
Dear Big Red-
I have targeted a bus full of your precious Droid Bionic & Droid Razr. The bus is rigged with Gorilla glass scratchers, a devious contraption designed to disfigure the pretty screens! [insert dramatic music]
Also, I have wired the roof of the bus to drop a gooey batch of sticky honey on all Droids, filling all external ports and rendering them useless! [insert even more dramatic music]
Do not try to rescue your precious Droids. The bus must maintain a minimum speed of 55mph! I will be watching! [insert music to indicate that this idea is not original, yet still scary]
I hereby demand that you release Galaxy Nexus by 8AM on November 10, 2011. If you fail to meet my demand, I will trigger the Gorilla glass scratcher on a Droid every 5 minutes. I will continue this until every Droid screen is disfigured. If you continue to ignore my demand, I will trigger the...HONEY DROP! [insert scary music climax with some high pitched shrieks]
I'm going for scary but not worthy of DHS review. What do ya'll think, too over the top?

Completely off topic, but The Walking Dead is an awesome show, and that last episode was great. Okay, back to your regularly scheduled program.
The G-Nex will be out in a month or two, and then everyone will be singing its praises and making sweet sweet love to it, hardly remembering life without it. Chill out people - it's almost here.

Everything is pointing to a November release. Even that marketing document is pretty much hinting towards a November release. I would say either it comes out the 17th or December 1st. I can't see it coming the 10th like some people are dreaming of (even though that would be awesome) and I can't see it coming out on Thanksgiving week since obviously that Thursday they will not be open. So like I said my bets are on the 17th or December 1st. We are getting closer and closer everyday guys, hang in there!!!!
Yep. I'm pretty sure that we will hear release date info tomorrow in some form from Verizon.

Anyways I wouldn't be surprised to see the nexus be released without a 'release' or advertising. I wouldn't be surprised if it just was avalible on a specific date.

I don't like a black friday release date... If I'm going to be one of the d-bags waiting outside a store before it opens, its to get a gift for someone other than myself... I don't mind being a d-bag on the 17th though 
I'm still optimistic for a pre-Black Friday release. Don't forget the HTC Rezound event today at 3 PM Eastern. If a release date is given for that today, then we should get a "better idea" about the Nexus.
People have put too much stock in the marketing map. I think we see a essentially silent release, then Verizon pushes it post-turkey with a new tablet in a commercial. Essentially it will be ignored mainstream-wise.
Also BMX says its being delivered to warehouse. Someone noted how expensive it is to house you are not selling, and I'll second that. Storage of a non-profitable good is bad for budget sheets....

It's bad for a big company like VZW because they have to pay taxes on that inventory. Every morning (and afternoon) I've been logging on to My Verizon to see if it's there, when I look under "shop for smartphones".

It's not going to even come close to showing up there until we get a press release with the pre order or release date. Until then the sign up page is the only thing that'll be on the site. I hope they got enough Nexus' to go around! Either way I'm getting mine since I have Thursdays off from school and work. I'll camp out all night if I need to but that won't need to be done since it's not a mainstream device.

I figured as much, I was just doing it just in case and, to make myself feel better I guess LOL! I'm not sure you will have to camp out either.
