I previously owned the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 and used an app called DSLR Remote by bitshift to trigger my DSLR.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get it to work with my Verizon LG G4 and when I load up the application I get a warning about QuickSetSDK not being installed. I contacted the developer and was told that it is a system error, not one from the application.
When I use the LG Quick Remote and press the different buttons (Power/Volume/etc) the led light flashes blue and works properly. I get no such result when trying to use the DSLR remote application.
I was wondering if I could request someone else who has the Verizon LG G4 to download the app and see if they get the same error. It seems people who don't have the Verizon version don't have any issues, so I'm trying to determine if it's just my phone or perhaps all Verizon LG G4s.
